Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program aims to identify and attract international researchers with a proven record of scientific excellence, across all career stages, who demonstrate strong potential to join the institute through competitive international funding schemes—particularly the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and ICREA calls.
Característiques principals
Proposals will be assessed by the institute’s internal Talent Selection Committee based on:
• Scientific excellence.
• Strategic alignment with the institute’s priorities.
• Feasibility and competitiveness of the future funding application.

Selected researchers will be expected to:
• Deliver a public scientific lecture during the visit.
• Hold meetings with research groups across the institute to explore collaboration opportunities.
• Participate in a brief exit interview to provide feedback on the experience.

Requisits
  • Hold a current international academic or research affiliation for at least 3 years.
  • Demonstrate a strong scientific track record appropriate to their career stage.
  • Show clear interest in applying to competitive international fellowships with the institute as the host institution.
  • For R2, have the explicit support of a host group within the institute.

    Dotació
    The program has an annual budget of €15,000, with a maximum funding of €3,000 per candidate.
    For co-funded visits (R2), the host group must commit to covering 50% of the total approved expenses.

  • Candidate’s CV.
  • Motivation letter from the candidate.
  • Preliminary research proposal aligned with a competitive funding scheme.
  • Justification of fit with the intended funding program.
  • For R2: A letter of support from the host group, confirming their interest and commitment to cover 50% of the approved costs.
