Objectiu de la convocatòria
The objectives of the ALTA Awards are to identify and engage investigators (both physicians and scientists) who are early in their careers in a longstanding commitment to investigating Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD) and to strengthen the network between scientists and clinicians working in the field of AATD.

    Appraisal Criteria Applications are evaluated based on four criteria:
  • Scientific merit
  • Innovation
  • Clinical and medical impact
  • Quality of research environment
    • Requisits
    The participants in the ALTA Awards may present their proposal individually. Participant(s) shall meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Present an innovative proposal that fulfils the project objectives.
  • be either an early career clinician, fellow-in-training, scientist or any other Alpha-1 care professional from hospitals, universities and/or independent research institutes or an individual, who is already working and/or is new in the field of AATD;
  • be under the age of 40 at the time of submitting the Letter of Intent (the "LoI");
  • be employed or supported by a hospital, university or independent institution

    Documentació
    Applicants should complete the Application Form and submit it, together with the LoI and any required documentation, including a short curriculum vitae during the term set out in Section 3.
