Objectiu de la convocatòria
The EAACI Research Fellowships supports research and training of EAACI Junior Members (JMs) in another European country, fosters the exchange of knowledge and the implementation of new techniques throughout European laboratories. The work of EAACI Junior Members (JMs) will be highlighted through an increased publication activity and a dedicated event during the EAACI Annual Congress.

    Requisits
  • EEAACI Junior Members (JMs) in training or recently specialised in allergy and clinical immunology.
  • To be eligible to apply, you must be an active Junior member of EAACI (EAACI-JM).
  • A person may submit only one application at a time.
  • Applicants must contact an institution in another European country that is willing to host them for the whole duration of the fellowship, and define a supervisor. The host supervisor must be a member of EAACI or have applied for membership of EAACI at the time of the Fellowship application.
  • Your home institution must be willing to release you of all work, laboratory and clinical, during the whole duration of the fellowship, and ensure that you will have the possibility to come back after the conclusion of the fellowship.
  • Applicants are required to align their fellowship program start date with the beginning of the Fellowship Program year, which starts on January 1st. Any application with a proposed start date before January 1st will not be accepted. The starting date of the Fellowship period must start before the end of each year.
  • Adequate fluency in a language that permits effective communication in the host institution is required.

    For accommodation and travel expenses:
    1. EUR 7,500 for the Research Short-Term Fellowship
    2. EUR 15,000 for the Research Medium-Term Fellowship
    3. EUR 30,000 for the Research Long-Term Fellowship The Fellow’s salary would be covered by the hospital of origin.
    Durada
    3 months (short-term), 6 months (medium-term) or 12 months (long-term).

    All fellowship types use an online platform. You will be asked to complete some of the required information online and upload additional signed documents into the system. All documents must be submitted in English. Before starting the application process, please ensure you have the following information at hand:
    1. Your EAACI Membership Number (mandatory)
    2. Valid ID / Passport (mandatory)
    3. Certificate of residence (in English) (mandatory)
    4. Your host’s EAACI membership number (mandatory)
    5. Your home supervisor’s EAACI membership number (if applicable)
    6. Curriculum vitae (mandatory, 1 A4 page maximum, for upload)
    7. Publication list (only most relevant to your project)
    8. Research project description (mandatory, entered in online system, 4 pages maximum). You may upload additional documents with figures, graphs or any other relevant project-related information
    9. Home institution release form (mandatory, signed, for upload)
    10. Host institution acceptance form (mandatory, signed, for upload)
    11. Invitation letter with a short description of the schedule/programme for the planned visit of a fellow (mandatory, signed, for upload)
