Objectiu de la convocatòria
This call aims to support scientific research focused on the understanding and management of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders (RMDs) through novel omic technologies and conducted by a collaborative consortia of at least three partner universities.
Característiques principals
Studies may be clinical, epidemiological, or translational. Proposals should start from and focus on a clearly articulated unmet medical need and aim to provide solutions for the identified challenge.

The scientific proposals need to address the following objectives:
  • Clinical and Epidemiological Research aimed at optimizing RMD management across reproductive stages.
  • Translational and Mechanistic Research conducting hypothesis-driven translational studies to elucidate mechanisms underlying sex and gender differences in RMDs.
  • Collaborative Consortia involving at least three partner universities from different countries.

    Requisits
    Eligibility and requirements:
  • Multi-centre project applications involving partners from at least three different countries are required.
  • Any given institution shall be allowed to lead on only one application. However, that institution, or its staff may participate in other projects as collaborators.
  • The call shall be open to participants from EULAR membership countries. Also, the Principal Investigator should come from a EULAR membership country.
  • Members of the FOREUM committees and EULAR Executive Committee are not allowed to submit or to participate in applications.

  • Letter of intent (LoI) accompanied by a lay summary, by 26 October 2025.
  • Full proposal by 01 February 2026, by invitation only. Additional lay summary must also be completed at this stage.
