Objectiu de la convocatòria
The program provides travel fellowships to enable early-career cancer researchers to gain new skills through a short-term visit to a lab or research group in another country.
Característiques principals
This visits must be used to develop a research technique or to carry out a specific research project. The project must have clear cancer relevance, and should benefit your home institution as well as your own research career. The EACR prioritises overseas trips over domestic lab visits, to promote international collaboration.

Requisits
  • Candidates must be an EACR member with no more than 8 years postdoctoral experience (excluding career breaks such as parental leave or long-term illness) at the point of submission.
  • If membership is through one of the EACR’s associated National Societies, the same criteria apply.
  • Candidates must hold a current position within the field of cancer research at a recognised institution or company.
  • Previous recipients of an EACR Travel Fellowship are not eligible to apply.

    There are 3 documents to submit:
  • Application form
  • Supporting letter from your home supervisor
  • Supporting letter from your host supervisor
    All documents should be emailed as separate PDF attachments to [email protected].
    • AVÍS IMPORTANT
    There are no application deadlines as Travel Fellowships are assessed throughout the year. You should submit your application at least eight weeks before the proposed start date of your trip to allow time for the review process.
