Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators acknowledges outstanding contributions to biomedical research in Europe based on methods of molecular biology, including novel analytical concepts.

Requisits
Entrants must be early-career scientists with an advanced degree (Ph.D.) who are no older than 35 at the time of entry. The age eligibility limit may be extended under exceptional circumstances, such as maternity or paternity leave, disability or long-term illness, national or civilian service, or clinical training.
Dotació
  • Prize money of 20,000 EUR
  • Prize ceremony at the EMBL Advanced Training Centre in Heidelberg, Germany, on July 16, 2026, including complimentary transportation and hotel accommodation
  • Coverage of the recipient’s work by Nature in print and online, including a podcast
  • Documentació
    Applications must include:
  • Personal information, curriculum vitae, and a research title
  • An essay summarizing the research (maximum 2,000 characters incl. spaces) and a brief description of its major discovery
  • A list of publications and PDFs of 3 to 5 published papers
