Objectiu de la convocatòria
The CRI IGNITE Award — Inspiring Growth and Nurturing Independence Through Excellence — supports the transition of outstanding postdoctoral researchers into independent tenure-track investigators. The program offers two sequential phases of funding:
  • Phase 1: Foundation Phase – Up to 2 years of postdoctoral support
  • Phase 2: Independence Phase – Up to 3 years of faculty support

    Requisits
  • Applicants must hold a mentored postdoctoral position at the time of application.
  • Applicants must have no more than five years of postdoctoral experience, with possible exceptions upon request. Please contact CRI for further information.
  • Applicants must commit to a minimum of 12 months of mentored research prior to transition to independence.
  • Open to both U.S. and international researchers; there are no citizenship restrictions.
  • Research may be conducted in the U.S. or abroad.
  • Applicants must not currently hold, nor have previously held, an independent or tenure-track faculty position (or equivalent) in academia, industry, or elsewhere.
