Característica
Objectiu de la convocatòria
The EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships support excellent postdoctoral researchers by promoting international mobility and enabling work in a new country or host laboratory. The programme is open to researchers in Europe (and globally as part of EMBO’s network) and focus on high-quality research in the life sciences.
Característiques principals
Applications are expected to be driven by a biological question, explore the mechanisms behind biological phenomena and yield biological insight, rather than remaining at the descriptive or observational level. Mechanistic insight may involve molecules, but can also involve higher levels of organization, such as cells, tissues, organisms, populations or ecosystems. Projects with an aim to develop an application, commercial product or process, or a device may be considered if a fundamental biology question behind the project is to be answered.
