Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Research Seed Grant provides investigators worldwide the opportunity to define objectives and test hypotheses in preparation for larger grant applications to corporations, foundations, and government agencies. The seed data from funded projects will give investigators a clearer understanding of the feasibility and potential direction of their research before pursuing other funding sources.
|
Característiques principals
Beginning with the 2026 grant cycle, the R&E Foundation introduces new priority focus areas, designed to support transformative research in cutting-edge, underfunded and high-impact disciplines as identified by the Board of Trustees.
Precision medicine: Theranostics
Imaging in vulnerable populations
Efficiencies in radiology and opportunities for improvement
Personalized care in pediatric imaging
Cybersecurity in radiology departments
Increasing access and efficiency: Doing more with less
While these areas are encouraged, the Foundation continues to support investigator-initiated projects across the full spectrum of radiologic science. Applications must demonstrate the uniqueness of the research and its potential to attract future funding based on preliminary data collected during the grant cycle.
