The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), together with Boehringer Ingelheim, awards prizes in recognition of outstanding and innovative scientific work from all areas of neuroscience research.

The 2026 Award will be presented during the FENS Forum in Barcelona. The prize winner will give a special lecture at the meeting.
Requisits
  • Candidates may apply directly or be nominated by a fellow neuroscientist.
  • Candidates should be of European origin or affiliated with a European institution.
  • Candidates must be within 15 years of their PhD at the nomination deadline, excluding any periods of documented parental or health-related leave.
