The application deadlines are March 1 and September 1 annually; when those dates fall on the weekend or holiday, applications are due the following workday. It is strongly recommended to submit as early as possible to allow ample time for completion.

Requisits
Applicants should be computational biologists seeking deeper immunology knowledge, cancer immunologists gaining skills in computational biology, data science, or genomics, and researchers from diverse PhD backgrounds training at the interface of cancer immunology and computational biology.
Projects should be hypothesis-driven studies in basic or translational cancer immunology that address key gaps, advance understanding of the immune system in cancer, and utilize innovative technologies or computational approaches.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree by the award start date and conduct research under a sponsor with at least an assistant professor appointment.
Applicants should have less than 5 years of mentored research experience at the award start (excluding MD residency); exceptional cases may allow consideration for those who have spent three or more years in the sponsor's lab.
Fellowships can be conducted in the U.S. or abroad at a non-profit institution, with no citizenship restrictions.
One applicant per sponsor per round, and sponsors may have a maximum of three CRI-supported fellows at any time.
Resubmissions are allowed if the application is improved to reflect progress, with changes clearly addressed.

$74,000, $76,000, and $78,000 stipend in years 1-3.
$5,000 annual allowance to cover costs such as research supplies, conference travel, health insurance, or childcare.
