Objectiu de la convocatòria
This award supports biomedical research projects in the field of paediatric and adult genetic cholestatic diseases sharing mutual disease-causing mechanisms.

Requisits
  • An active EASL membership is required to apply for the award.
  • Applicants should be early- or mid-career professionals and have acquired their MD or PhD degree within the last 10 years.
  • Applicant should be working in a European institution.
  • Only one submission per team/department/institution will be considered and only one award will be attributed per team/department/institution within a three-year period.
  • The research programme should be feasible within one or two years and should not exceed two years.
  • Dotació
    €25,000 for the research project
    €800 for travel and accommodation to attend the EASL Congress

    Up to 2 years

  • Project description (max 10 pages, preferably shorter)
  • Detailed CV (max 4 pages)
  • Itemised budget of the project
  • Letter signed by the applicants' senior mentor including the following elements:
    - A statement detailing the amount of work on design and research undertaken by the applicant
    - A statement that the applicate holds a PhD or MD degree and is no more than 40 years old prior to the opening day of the EASL Congress
    - A statement confirming that the object of the research programme is unpublished by the closing date of the application period
