EFIS provides financial support for the establishment of Study Groups focused on specific areas of immunology-related research.

Requisits
  • Study Groups must include members from at least three European countries, have a designated speaker/coordinator, and belong to EFIS-affiliated societies.
  • Study Groups should have demographic distribution and gender balance. The participation of junior scientists should be particularly encouraged.
  • Study Groups will be expected to meet at least once a year, either at a standalone event, or at a satellite meeting on occasion of a larger event.

    Up to €2,500 per group per year.

    Applicants must submit a 2-page synopsis describing the group’s research focus, key members and coordinator, tentative participants, other possible funding sources, and expected outcomes — including a commitment to publish at least one Immunology Letters Special Issue within three years — and send it by email to [email protected].
