Objectiu de la convocatòria
DMM Conference Travel Grants support early-career researchers attending scientific meetings, conferences, workshops and courses — either in person or online — in fields related to Disease Models & Mechanisms (DMM). For independent group leaders and PIs, the funding may also be used for practical and laboratory-management courses.

Requisits
PhD students and post-doctoral researchers at the beginning of their research careers, using the funding to support their travel.
Applicants from independent group leaders and PIs with no independent travel funding will also be considered.
The amount given depends on demand and may provide only a portion of the requested funding.
DMM does not fund applications made retrospectively.
The date of travel must occur within six months of funding being awarded.
Unsuccessful applicants may not submit a new application within 12 months of their initial application.
Applicants should not have received other funding from The Company of Biologists in the past 12 months.

Dotació
Maximum funding is set at £300 within the home country and at £500 for meetings overseas.

Curriculum Vitae.
A short justification of the proposal outlining why the grant should be awarded.
A copy of any abstract submitted to the meeting or conference for which funding is requested.
For PhD students and post-doctoral researchers: a supporting letter from their supervisor confirming their status.
For independent group leaders and PIs: a supporting letter from their Head of Department confirming that no independent funding is available to attend meetings and courses.
