Requisits
Joint proposals may include partners from academia, the clinical/public health sector, commercial companies including SMEs, and patient organisations (PAOs are not counted towards minimum or maximum consortium size).
Projects must be transnational and include three to six eligible partners from at least three different participating countries, with at least two from different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries; the number of partners may exceptionally increase to seven to support inclusion of underrepresented countries.
A consortium can include a maximum of two partners requesting funding from the same country.
Involvement of clinical research groups and promising ECRs is strongly encouraged (up to 7 years of experience since completion of PhD or medical specialisation diploma at the date of the launch of this call), as well as the use of European Research Infrastructure Networks.
Proposals should integrate Patient and Public Involvement (PPI).
Consideration of sex/gender differences in the studies is mandatory.
Double funding is not allowed.
PIs must hold a PhD and may participate in only one project proposal per call.
Applying to both EP BrainHealth calls is allowed, provided that the project proposals are independent and funding is requested from a different agency for each call (AEI/ISCIII).
There are specific eligibility criteria depending on the funding agency. Please review the National Annexes carefully.
