Objectiu de la convocatòria
The PCF Young Investigator Awards support early-career investigators from any discipline conducting basic, clinical, or translational research projects on prostate cancer. Young investigators working on prostate cancer health disparities are especially encouraged to apply
|
Característiques principals
Basic, translational, computational, or clinical research in prostate cancer.
Research proposals should have a high impact on the field. Incremental or "small-step" projects, and studies that do not address lethal or potentially lethal prostate cancer —such as diagnostics or treatments for low-risk localized disease— are generally considered non-competitive.
Highly innovative basic science programs will be carefully considered, but priority will be given to bench-to-bedside translational research proposals with strong potential to deliver near-term benefits to patients.
