Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program supports early-career Principal Investigators whose research activities are affected by pregnancy, parental leave, or adoption leave, helping them maintain research continuity and balance family responsibilities with the advancement of their scientific careers.
Característiques principals
The grant covers research-related expenses such as reagents, facility costs, outsourcing experiments or data acquisition, and non-commercial transport of samples or reagents. Funding may also be used for travel and childcare expenses to attend scientific conferences, as well as for grant writing or consultation services.

Requisits
  • Applicants should be early-career Principal Investigators with a maximum of seven years in this role; justified career breaks (e.g. previous maternity or adoption leave) are accepted.
  • Applicants must have at least one peer-reviewed publication as corresponding author.
  • Aplicants or or their partners must be pregnant (at least four months), have given birth within four months prior to the application deadline, or be close to adoption, assuming the role of the primary caregiver.
