Objectiu de la convocatòria
This grant program supports Investigator-Sponsored Research (ISR) that addresses knowledge gaps and unmet medical needs related to long-acting growth hormone treatment and follow-up.
Característiques principals
  • Primary Area of Interest: Endocrinology – Long-acting growth hormone

  • General Area of Interest:
    - Evaluate different parameters of long-acting growth hormone treatment vs daily growth hormone, such as clinical effect, adherence and/or pathophysiology, in real world setting.
    - Explore novel concepts in monitoring and follow-up with daily and long-acting growth hormone treatment.
    - Explore novel strategies to address current unmet medical needs in short stature management which could be addressed with long-acting growth hormone treatment.
    - Pfizer will not supply drug for independent research studies.

    Requisits
  • The institution and Principal Investigator must be based in Asia-Pacific, Australia, Brazil, France, Greece, Italy, Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, or USA.
  • Only organizations can receive grants; individuals and medical practice groups are not eligible.
  • If the project involves multiple departments or institutions, all must have a relevant role and the requesting organization must play a key role.
  • The PI must have a medical or postdoctoral degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent), an advanced nursing degree (BSN with a MS/PhD), or a degree in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or Social Work.
  • The applicant must be the project/program lead—or an authorized designee—and must be an employee or contractor of the requesting organization.
