Objectiu de la convocatòria
This short-term international fellowship programme enables cancer professionals to strengthen their knowledge and skills in cancer control through learning visits of up to two months. |

Característiques principals
Applications should focus on public health and the training of health professionals in cost-effective, evidence-based cancer control strategies adapted to their local context, with an emphasis on reducing inequities in cancer care and outcomes. They may cover the full cancer control continuum, from prevention and early detection to diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, as well as strengthening health systems, including national cancer programmes and registries. Priority is given to projects aligned with key UICC themes such as access to care, health systems strengthening, women's and lung cancers, and people-centred care, with a special focus in 2026 on cervical cancer, particularly HPV vaccination introduction and scale-up. Eligible activities include clinical observerships, implementation projects, and applied clinical cancer research that translates existing knowledge into improved patient outcomes.
