Requisits Each applicant must be nominated by a person duly qualified to assess the value of their work. Candidates must hold a PhD and be no older than 55 at the time of application. Nominees must not have previously received an equivalent prize. Applicants should preferably be nationals of an EU or EFTA member state, the United Kingdom, or a country whose scientific societies in neurology, psychiatry, or neurosurgery are affiliated with the corresponding European societies. Applicants must also demonstrate that they carry out their work in a laboratory, clinic, hospital, or other institution based in the European Research Area.
