Objectiu de la convocatòria
The European project PERIFORMANCE launches its first open call to support bottom-up, innovative engagement initiatives in cancer research, care, and survivor support. It promotes co-creation between patients, citizens, and professionals, aiming to strengthen societal engagement in line with the EU Cancer Mission.
Característiques principals
The call is open to a wide range of engagement formats, both theoretical and practical, including participatory and co-creative approaches, educational and capacity-building activities, arts-based initiatives, and public outreach. The proposed activity must:
  • Address a local or regional need in cancer research or care, with a clear link to at least one Cancer Mission objectives
  • Ensure inclusive and fair participation
  • Adopt an original bottom-up approach with an innovative component, or present substantial improvements to previous initiatives
  • Integrate ethical and safety considerations into the approach
  • Be completed in time to submit the final report by 31 August 2027

    Requisits
  • Any organization based in Europe working in or related to cancer research and care, including institutions involved in education, research, or innovation, is eligible to apply.
  • The call primarily supports academic, healthcare, civil society, and not-for-profit stakeholders. Large for-profit enterprises may participate as partners, provided that leadership and primary benefit remain with eligible not-for-profit organizations.
  • For multi-partner activities, one organization must act as coordinator. A coordinator may submit one proposal but can participate as a partner in additional proposals.
