Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program supports junior faculty in tenure-eligible positions. Proposed research projects may address any aspect of cancer etiology, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention, and may be basic, translational, or clinical in nature.

Requisits
  • Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, DO, or equivalent) in a related field and must not currently be a candidate for a further doctoral degree.
  • Applicants must hold a tenure-eligible appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. If eligibility is based on a future position, it must be confirmed at the time of application and cannot be contingent upon receiving this grant.
  • AApplicants must have started their first independent faculty position within the past 6 years. Exceptions may be granted for up to 12 months of parental or justified personal/family leave.
  • Applicants must have independent laboratory space as confirmed by their institution.
  • Applicants must work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.
  • Applicants must not be candidates for a further doctoral degree, nor hold (or be under consideration for) any ineligible positions, including Associate Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor (research track), Visiting Professor, Instructor, or tenured positions.
  • By the submission deadline, applicants must be AACR Active members in good standing (dues paid for the current year).
